Today is Small Biz Saturday - a day to celebrate all the small, independent businesses in the UK! We are proud to be one of the many thriving small businesses in Newmarket & the surrounding area. Last night's Xmas Shopping Event

Thank you to those who came to our shopping evening last night and helped us support the Newmarket Day Centre in our charity raffle. After the success of our Christmas shopping evening last year, we are planning another one for this December! Our Ribkoff day was a great success

Thankyou to everyone who came along to the launch of our new label Joseph Ribkoff on Wednesday! It was great to see so many ladies excited by the collection. We have finally received our first delivery of the FDJ jeans! These are our best-selling jeans which we stock in a variety of styles: classic denim and the super soft denim, plus the Love Denim in both a jeans and a jegging style. A week until the Velvet Fashion Show

It's only just over a week to go until the Velvet Mag fashion show! We have picked out our outfits to be shown and the model rehearsals are underway. Summer is here!

It's going to be a scorcher this week - luckily for you ladies, we have a shop full of gorgeous clothes that will keep you cool while looking fashionable in the summer heat. Last week we were thrilled to be a part of the fashion show that took place at Kentford Manor! Two fabulous models each wore one casual outfit and one evening outfit from our summer collection. The evening was a great success.

Racing fashion!

One of the most exciting things about Spring/Summer is the arrival of the racing season here in Newmarket, and beyond! A fantastic day in the shop for our Betty Barclay event

Yesterday was our Betty Barclay fashion day - it was very busy and a lot of fun! The Betty Barclay high summer collection sold brilliantly, with so many ladies finding a fabulous new summer dress, top or jeans from the label. Even better, everyone enjoyed 10% off Betty Barclay on the day plus there were some amazing freebies - perfume, necklaces, scarves & more! Who's coming to our Taifun Day tomorrow?

We're excited because its our first fashion day of the year tomorrow with one of our best selling daywear labels Taifun! Hope many of you are coming along to enjoy a glass of bubbly with us and find out all about the Taifun summer looks! (Also, we are unfortunately having to cancel our Frank Lyman day that was planned for 24th April. We aim to reschedule for a date later on this year. Sorry!)

Easter opening hours

Over the Easter weekend these are our opening hours: Good Friday - CLOSED. Saturday 4th - OPEN AS NORMAL (9-5.30). Easter Sunday & Monday - CLOSED. We will re-open as normal on Tuesday 7th April. Enjoy the weekend and make sure you pop in to see us on the Saturday - a little Martha V treat is so much better than a chocolate Easter egg!! x

Success for the Newmarket Fashion Show!

On Thursday night Martha V attended & took part in the Newmarket Fashion Show in aid of St Nicholas Hospice! Our two models Amy & Mikaela modelled our new season wear beautifully. They each wore one of our casual looks and one of our special occasion looks. All the other retailers did great job too showcasing some fabulous outfits. We are waiting on the total figure of how much was raised, but we know the night was a great success!! Martha V are proud to have taken part to support such a good cause :-)

We stock a great range of basic t-shirts by Emreco which we have every summer and winter - and the 2015 spring summer collection has just arrived on the shop floor! There are numerous styles such as round neck, v neck, scoop neck plus there is a fab range of colours - this season you will find beautiful pastel pinks, blues, lilacs & more.

Newmarket Fashion Show

We are excited to be taking part in the Newmarket Fashion Show held on 26th Feb at Kings! We will be featuring in the catwalk show alongside lots of other Newmarket retailers, and it is all in aid of the St Nicholas Hospice. Tickets are £10 and on-sale from any of the participating retailers! Hope to see lots of you there for a fun night of fashion!

New label: Vera Mont

We'd like to introduce another new label to our Spring/Summer collection this year; Vera Mont! This is the sister label to one of our best selling labels Betty Barclay. We have some absolutely gorgeous occasion wear coming in from Vera Mont this season, with a few already in stock now!

New supersoft fabric FDJ Jeans!

Many of our customers are already fans of our best-selling jeans label, FDJ jeans. Their 'Love Denim' and 'Classic' styles of jeans are both hugely popular! Now, FDJ are adding to the collection a supersoft fabric pair of jeans, which we have in the shop now and we already love! For the most fabulous fitting jean you will ever have, you must all check out our range of FDJ jeans.

We have some exciting news that Martha herself will be featuring on Star Radio tomorrow as part of the Business Hub! Martha, alongside others, will be representing award winning local businesses. The show will air live on Star Radio from 9am on Sunday 11th January and should be available to listen to after. Make sure you tune in!
